Cancellation Policy

Cancellations: Refunds for combined live & self-learning Course (less a 25% administration fee), will be granted to delegates unable to watch any recordings between December 11, 2023 - March 11, 2024, provided written notice is received by the Secretariat by December 11, 2023. Please note that all refunds will be issued only after the Course. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after December 11, 2023.

At this year's dinner our special guest is Josh Freed.

JOSH FREED is an award-winning filmmaker, writer and journalist who believes he who laughs, lasts.

The Monday evening dinner has been a staple of this Course since the beginning. Every year, we are excited to celebrate with our long-time friends and colleagues and are thrilled about attendance of the younger generation. A unique experience for veterans as well as for first timers.

For his writing, Freed has won two National Newspaper Awards as Best Canadian Columnist for his weekly column in the Montreal Gazette.

In film his many CBC documentaries have been broadcast in over 50 countries, from Europe to Japan. In Canada, Freed has won two Writers Guild awards as best Canadian documentary writer, as well as the New York World Medal for Investigative Filmmaking and two Chris Awards for Best North American Current Affairs Documentary.

Freed is also the author of several popular books, including Moonwebs; Vive Le Quebec Freed; The Anglo Guide to Survival in Quebec; and Fear of Frying, which won him the Stephen Leacock Prize for humour.
